Grilled Steak and Vegetables with Sesame Ginger Teriyaki

This Japanese-inspired dish is perfect when you want a meal that's savory and satisfying. Organic SEEDS OF CHANGE® simmer sauce marinates the steak to tender, succulent perfection, and the vegetables and whole grains round out the meal with even more flavor.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 1 (8-ounce) package SEEDS OF CHANGE® Sesame Ginger Teriyaki Simmer Sauce, divided in half
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil or extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup peeled, julienned carrots
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1 cup red onion pieces
  • 1 (8.5-ounce) package SEEDS OF CHANGE®
Garnish:
  • Radishes (red, watermelon, black, etc.)
  • Bean sprouts
DIRECTIONS

Place steak and ½ package of SEEDS OF CHANGE® Sesame Ginger Teriyaki Simmer Sauce in plastic zip-top bag.

Refrigerate at least 2 hours.

Heat grill to medium high heat.

Remove steak from marinade and discard marinade.

Place steak on grill, cover, and cook 5 minutes.

Turn over steak and continue cooking until center is pink about 4 to 5 minutes.

Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes. Cut steak across grain into slices; set aside.

Meanwhile, heat oil in 10-inch skillet, over medium heat.

Add carrots, celery and onion.

Cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are crisp tender (5 to 6 minutes).

Add remaining half of SEEDS OF CHANGE® Sesame Ginger Teriyaki Simmer Sauce packet; continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until sauce is heated through (2 to 3 minutes).

Heat SEEDS OF CHANGE® Seven Whole Grains Rice according to package directions.

To serve: place warm SEEDS OF CHANGE® Seven Whole Grains Rice on plate and surround with meat slices and vegetables.

Garnish with radishes and bean sprouts if desired.
